ABOUT

I, Laura Vance, am a nineteen-year-old college sophomore studying English/Creative Writing and minoring in Editing/Publishing at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. I have been basically writing all my life, which I wish was an over-exaggeration. For the longest time, I have been terrified to have people read what I write because there is nothing scarier than the world hating what you love. One day, though, I realized how stupid it is to be scared of others hating what I write, especially considering that my greatest ambition is to become a best-selling author.

So, here lies everything I've written of potential merit. I am exposing it all online to rid myself of my fear of people not thinking too much of it. So, I guess this is me publicly saying that I do not care what you think because I am posting it all anyway.

Now, listed below are some of my favorite literary quotes of all time. Cheers and enjoy!

Library Books

Markus Zusak, "The Book Thief"

"Now she became spiteful. More spiteful... than she thought herself capable. The injury of words. Yes, the brutality of words."
